Oh no!! My friend juz reminded me tat our 1st assignment is due next week!! And i havent started research yet!!! tonite i spend some 1 hr playing around facebook... haha... works like friendster, but its like the most "now" thing in brisbane right now, so as a marketing student, i think i ought to have one account and be more informed abt it... anyway... i cant tell why do australians think its better than friendster, maybe im juz too used to friendster...
had a nice chat with rachel last fri after uni bible talks, giving her some crash course on asian students perspective... haa... so qut-christians can start some international student ministry... seems quite interesting... and we planned our 1st outing - a coffee shop crawl which involves moving ard 3 diff cafes and ending up wif personal reviews on each of them... and we aim to get to know each other during the crawling ard cafes.. :) i'm supposed to come up wif a flyer about it!! haha... 1st time so far in oz that i gotta use some creative graphical ideas... hmm...
watched simpsons movie last sat!! wif mei - classmate from last sem... 1st time we go out together... but i think we mix well... i discovered tat she goes clubbing too, not juz drinking but dancing too... yeah! found kahki liao... from the time i've landed till now, i prob only went to 2 or 3 pubs, one which was a super lousy club tat looks like a lousy movie set-up and 2 other which are juz drinking pubs.. cos amelia and helen dun go dancing clubs, and i didnt wanna go clubbing wif juz anybody tat i dunno well.. so next week i can try clubbing wif mei!! ehehehhh...
on sunday i served as backup singer in worship in CCCB! 1st time im doing tat in australia - which i think went alrite.. i enjoyed myself and i didnt fail to not sing the right lyrics too.. haha... but jus a minor prob, no big deal.. before i came to oz i wanted to go to a big church and hop churches, didnt wanna serve but be served... but God still brought me to a small chinese church and i still haf to serve.. well well, not my will but Yours be done! auntie molly asked me if i wanna join her discipleship class, i said no and gave no much reasons for it.. well actually of cos i've got reasons - basically i cant decide if i really agree with her teachings! pastor steve is encouraging and inspiring... auntie molly and uncle richard are very opinionated and take their words carefully... coming to oz and learning God's words from unfamiliar places and pple make me very cautious of learning the wrong things, CCCB is afterall a no denomination church and im careful about what im preached to.. i rather haf my solid spiritual food from QBC and juz take the necessary from CCCB for now.. tats my reason to not do discipleship wif her lor...
