there's a remote control that i can open and close the garage below from the house above... y'day i left it open for half the afternoon as i was hanging my laundry there... and sunday too... and everytime i close the garage door from above, i'll feel abit paranoid about what if my housemate is in there and i unknowingly lock her inside.. haa... cos u cant see inside the garage from above... thank god it hadnt happened so far...
jus now my housemate opened the garage before leaving the house to take something and she told me to close it in abt 15mins time... ard 30mins later i went down, wanted to feel if my clothes are dry already.. and found a cat walking out of the garage!! den i occurred to me that it's prob not so easy to accidentally lock my housemate in here than to lock stray animals there...!! how gross!!
i shoo-ed the cat away and quickly closed the door without even touching my clothes.. haa... cos the cat was following me and i was not going to lead it into the garage again!

the tenants (ruth and huiyan) of this house tat im in currently will all be back tmr and its prob best that i can move out by tmr... well, tat was my initial plan... but things didnt seem very successful in the beginning... last nite i viewed a city apartment... it was a really good location, literally rite outside uni, above a chinese restaurant, beside a chemist... and the house is very big and spacious and tastefully maintained... and the room although was small was prob enuff... but its only going to be available on 14 march, i actually told the people there yes i'll rent their place, and we were going to sign the papers on coming tues.. and actually i was praying that we can sign the papers any day after saturday becos i was still waiting for another house in a zone 2 suburb called Annerley to give me a reply on whether or not im going to get to rent her place... (cos she said she can only give me a reply fri or sat) and thank god the city apt people said to sign the papers on tues...
so today at 6pm, the Annerley person told me i rent that place if i still want it... and so yes, i want it... and cos i told her already that i like to move by sunday, so i asked her can i move tmr and after i've moved den we'll sign the papers and she said ok... so yeah! i can move tmr!! apologetically, i called the city apt to say im backing out... hehh... thank God they were very nice, they didnt make things hard for me... :) the Annerley unit is cheaper than the city one and plus its immediately available, so yea, i think its a better deal...
so tmr ruth, huiyan and myself will all have our own beds to sleep on...!! yeah!!

for jus 3 days... my legs are super aching and sored from climbing up and down hills... why? becos brisbane is built on hills... i used to complain so much abt my 1st house at dorchester st for being hilly... now im staying at st lucia in a fren's house temporarily and boy, her house IS in the middle of a super duper steep hill tat i believe is the main cause of my aches...
house hunting began right when i landed... but i was duper sleepy, so i started viewing places on sunday only... so far i've called 5 houses, seen 3 - out of which 1 i really liked... its was an absolutely new, clean, modern and cool townhouse in herston suburb where the other QUT campus is near... well, not exactly near... the walk from QUT to tat house prob added another 40% to my aches.... but the house was realllyyyy cool... but anyway, i got a call about 1 hr later informing that they've picked someone else for to give the lease to... so well... im still homeless...
i was thinking of having aussie housemates, but somehow i do think that they prob prefer to not live with an asian anyway... plus, im not like a very cool asian kid too, i appear nerdy at 1st look, i think... why aussie housemates? well, cos im in aussie! ha... prob more experiences if i were to live wif a local rite... den again, with asian housemates, i can cook and do asian things freely without thinking wat they would think of me... HEE...
arghh... i just wanna get my own place soon!!

Monday, February 18, 20089:00 PMPreviously I tried to convince myself to eat Yong Dau Foo during lunch bcos it's healthier than chicken rice and other food in the food court near my office. But everytime I stand in between of Chicken Rice store and Yong Dau Foo store to decide which one to eat, the chicken always able to pull me to the chicken rice store.
But today is different. Today my stomach dun feel well and I dun have appetite to eat meat. So today the chicken can't pull me over, the chicken rice uncle look at me strangely that why i didn't line up for the chicken rice. So today I had my first Yong Dau Foo in my life! My colleague taught me how to order, recommended me which are good. So I picked 7 different food with sweet sauce with rice. Out of my expectation, it tasted good! and it's very filling too. So from now on, I will eat more Yong Dau Foo during lunch!

Wednesday, February 13, 200812:11 AMOooo... been a longgggg time since i blogged in the office.. haa... yups, im back in synovate office... doing temp lor... haa... this is my 3rd last day... hee.... right now, i nv cheat the company money okie, i already signed off the timesheet liao... but im jus hanging ard waiting for another focus group done by another company but held in synovate office to happen at 7pm... my extra work tat's gonna earn me $80 in 2 hrs...! muahahahahaha!!
sometime ago da jie got a lobang to do a korean food focus grp... den she refered er jie... who after some qns from the in-charge, failed the screener so cannot join the group... den one day later, da jie also failed the screener.... haa... and guess what, tat IS the focus group that i am going to attend shortly later.. hahahaha...
borings... now i also dunno what to do... although i already sign off timesheet... but scared later some boss see me do all these own things think i nv sign off timesheet, think i cheat them leh... haa... but actually i also dun haf lots of things to do... borings....
