let me jus say that i enjoyed the duet very muchie too!! hee... fun to play music wif billy together... the most amazing part is that my guitar was 1st taught by him... hee... seeing billy play the violin also makes me wonder how good i'd be at it (violin) if i didnt stop classes when i was 10 yrs old... hee... come to think of it, last time when i quit learning violin, it wasnt cos i didnt like it or i was tired of it - jus cos i moved house and there wasnt any music sch near me (tampines mall was not even built too) and i was too lazy to find another teacher - or maybe my parents were lazy.... come to think of it.. how come i was lazy when i was so young already?!!

Although those music pieces are for kids like Mary has a little lamb, I am a teapot short and stout and Go Tell Auntie Rhody, but the effect was great and that met part of my dream which one day I can duet with Debbie with Guitar and violin and that consider partially! haa... then when tommy heard we play, he joined in with his harmonica. Wah, I just found that he got talent in Harmonica! You just name and sing to him any song, he can play it straight away without any music score!

Monday, January 28, 200812:13 AMhmm... one, of the many, sweet things billy did for me when we were in australia was coiling up my wires before he left me to go back to singapore... i remember it was the evening he just left, and i was alone in my bedroom, missing him deeply.. den i wanted to charge my handphone, and it was only den tat i saw tat he had coiled up all my various chargers and laptop's wires neatly... i tot it was so sweet that he even cared about such little details of my life and the fact that it was such a small little act that wouldnt last long (cos i'd be messing them up once i started re-using any of them) yet he bothered to do that for me... and i was looking at the wires and crying non stop at that time... orhh....
last tues after dinner wif SING's farewelling cheeping into NS, we were talking about such topics over coffee... and i had mentioned billy's coiling my wires that softened my heart... hee.. today after song prac wif soarers in church, after i reached home and took out my laptop (i bought it to the prac), i found that billy (who was also there) had once again neatly coiled up my wires as he helped me keep my laptop just now... :) and my heart is softened once again... orHHhhh....

had my 1st dinner of 2008 in novotel y'day!! its serene and matthew's wedding! frens i made in brisbane... they're still going back to brisbane, but they're holding a dinner in sg cos they're both sg'eans.. 1st time i attend wedding alone - as in i went there alone... met familiar faces from brisbane church pple (those who are sg'eans back permanently or temporarily), and some unicellers.. but unfortunately, i was sitting on a table where i didnt know anybody, they were all unicellers from much earlier batches like 2001 till 2004... it was absolutely weird... but thanks to my friendly nature, we managed enuff conversation to not be too weird... a couple who was sitting on my table offered me (and 2 others) a ride home at the end of the dinner... thank god i saved on taxi! haa... actually.. opps... i dun even remember their names.. haa... plus i only knew them for juz 2 or 3 hrs... hee... but i dun care man, im sure they're good pple... haa.. on the car, i was thinking of how my mother always taught me as a kid, "dun talk to stranger, dun go home wif strangers"... haa... :P
and not forgetting, nice slack and simple 1st lunch of 2008 in some nice homely vietnam restaurant in siglap - with billy!!!
