one year passed...! thank God for the great year passed..!

had my 1st dinner of 2008 in novotel y'day!! its serene and matthew's wedding! frens i made in brisbane... they're still going back to brisbane, but they're holding a dinner in sg cos they're both sg'eans.. 1st time i attend wedding alone - as in i went there alone... met familiar faces from brisbane church pple (those who are sg'eans back permanently or temporarily), and some unicellers.. but unfortunately, i was sitting on a table where i didnt know anybody, they were all unicellers from much earlier batches like 2001 till 2004... it was absolutely weird... but thanks to my friendly nature, we managed enuff conversation to not be too weird... a couple who was sitting on my table offered me (and 2 others) a ride home at the end of the dinner... thank god i saved on taxi! haa... actually.. opps... i dun even remember their names.. haa... plus i only knew them for juz 2 or 3 hrs... hee... but i dun care man, im sure they're good pple... haa.. on the car, i was thinking of how my mother always taught me as a kid, "dun talk to stranger, dun go home wif strangers"... haa... :P



and not forgetting, nice slack and simple 1st lunch of 2008 in some nice homely vietnam restaurant in siglap - with billy!!!
